Most US universities require a TOEFL iBT total score of 80–100. Highly selective schools typically require 100+.
- MIT, Harvard, Stanford: 100–110+ (check departmental minimums)
- State universities (UCLA, UMich): typically 80–90
- Community colleges: often 60–75
- Some programs (MBA, Medical) may require 105+
UK & Canadian Requirements
- UK universities: most accept IELTS or TOEFL; TOEFL iBT 88–100 typical for Russell Group
- University of Toronto: 89–100 depending on program
